Summer Gift Guide

Inspired by Meet Me at the Ruins

I had such a fun time compiling these items that were inspired by the characters, setting, and even book cover of Meet Me at the Ruins! Most of these creators are folks and I know and love and hope you’ll love them too! Links bring you directly to the items mentioned. Thanks to all of these creators for letting me include them in this guide!

Cloud necklace – in book cover blue! – from Magpie Mouse

Edinburgh watercolor block map from Turn of the Centuries (who has all sorts of other locations mapped out, plus custom maps available!)

I wanted to shout out Stocklist Goods but they asked I share Coxswain Press‘s beautiful work directly – which shows how awesome they are about supporting their creators! This moth sticker is just so pretty and evocative! They even have a Luna moth, but this one’s still my favorite.

Gorgeous amazonite necklace from Intertwined by Bella – each one is a little different!

Gorgeous giclee print from Joelle Hanton Art! I loved looking up the actual constellations that would have been visible back in spring 2003, when writing the night scene with Margo and Graeme.

I have this sweet image as a sticker in my cell phone case! It’s a beautiful little reminder that travel, and getting lost, is one of the best things on earth. So many of us caught the travel bug when studying abroad, like Margo does! Find it at Left Coast Designs on Etsy.

Margo’s anxiety is always trying to get the best of her, but she fights back with running, breathing, and pushing herself out of her comfort zone! I’d like to think this beautiful piece of art by Flora and Phrase would be in her first real adult apartment.

The Edinburgh winter is almost is own character in the book, and this tongue in cheek beanie would suit Margo perfectly. I love everything Plenty of Yellow does – my favorite tote bag is from her!

Margo might have preferred a cappucino but she would have loved everything about Campfire Coffee! While the Starry Night blend might have been more book-inspired, it’s sold out! But keep an eye out for a restock, because all of their roasts are lovely.

If you love this list, please share it! What kind of guide would you like to see next?!
